Getting pre-approved will determine your target purchase price range, estimate your monthly payment, and give you an idea of funds due at closing. These factors will help me identify potential homes for you to view. If you need lender recommendations, I have lenders that have provided excellent service to past clients. Having a pre-qualification letter from your lender to include with your offer to purchase will give your proposal a better chance of being accepted by a seller. The lender meeting is the very first step to success.
Hire a professional.
While the Internet gives buyers access to home listings and resources, many aspects of the buying process require a level of expertise you won’t pick up from surfing the web. That’s why you’re better off using a professional agent than going it alone. An agent that represents you has your best interests at heart and can help you with strategies during the bidding process. Because a seller often allows their agent to share the brokerage fee with the agent who brings a buyer, all the service afforded to you by your agent comes without cost to you. A great deal!

Some of these are obvious such as number of bedrooms and baths, one-level or a home with stairs, new construction or existing, etc. Other things we’ll talk about are neighborhoods, schools, taxes, fencing, heating, cooling, condition, floor plan and more.
